The 2016 Juden-Ki Robotics team was very large. To have a more manageable team, we decided to create a second team in early September. The mentors split the teams, ensuring that build, programming and inspire needs were met.
We submitted name ideas and then voted, decided and then voted, deciding on Kernel Panic. The kernel is a piece in a computer and when it malfunctions, (PANICS!) you get the Blue Screen of Death. We then did the same with the team logo.
Programming and Build got to work, first furthering their education and then starting to create the robot. We had our first working robot completed November 2nd. We found flaws in the build, made notes, and are still recreating our robot. The Inspire team has been steadily working towards educating the community and reaching out to other FTC teams.
